Unfortunately once an invoice has been issued, it is not removable as it is seen as a legal document. You will however be able to record a 'Credit Note' which will have the same/similar effect.
Credit notes can be raised to reduce the amount outstanding on an invoice or to cancel the invoice completely so it appears as settled.
