Getting the automatic bank feed to work

Hi, looking for a bit of technical advice for Crunch Free, please?

My business bank account is with Starling Bank. A couple of months ago I set up the automatic bank feed in Crunch and it indicates that it is running smoothly, but it is not downloading any of the bank statement transactions. A few weeks ago I tried re-authenticating the feed, and again it said running smoothly but as of today still displays zero transactions. It says "0 to match in the bank" and so I can't reconcile against the ones I created in Crunch. It should show a few that happened in August.

I know you can do a manual statement import, but any ideas why the feed isn't working? Thanks.

Hi Tim,

The account requires a previous statement entry before it'll start importing.

The feed will need to be cancelled before you can manually upload a statement.

Go to "Cancel feed" > "Upload statement" > "Reactivate feed".

If you manually upload a statement from the beginning of the current period to present, it should then pull through anything that follows.

This should fix the issue, but of course, let me know how you get on!
