Q: I’ve put some money aside in my Starling account using the savings space. These have been pulled into the banking feed. How do I reconcile for these if there’s nothing to match it to?
A: Although we do have a free open banking link for standard Starling accountants, unfortunately, we do not yet support Starling Spaces with Crunch software. You can only have a standard Starling account as otherwise, the software sees it as a totally separate transaction, effectively a transfer to another account.
Our recommendation would be to move the money back from your Starling savings space to your current account space. This should then show in a few days with the bank feed and the two transactions should cancel out.
We're looking into a way to filter out these internal transfers, but sadly we don't yet have a date for when we will be supporting Starling Spaces.
