We thought the questions asked in the discussions area in our Crowdfunding Raise were superb so we wanted to replicate them here. Please let’s keep the discussions going and put forward your ideas to keep growing Crunch (and therefore your investment!)
Investor question (originally posted in Seedrs):
Hello there, Well done on your product! Could you please explain in detailed what is difference between crunch and coconut? Thanks.
Our answer:
Firstly Crunch is Software AND Service so you can buy full-service packages that include a client manager and accountant. In the case of our Crunch Pro Limited Company package, like Premium and Small Business, you have unlimited time with your client managers, accountants. Crunch oversees the VAT returns if registered and completes and files all your returns.
Unlike Coconut who only offer sole trader Software only, we cover all the key software AND full service for individual, freelancers, contractors and small businesses:
- Self Assessment, Sole trader, Limited Company for freelancers/ contractors and Small Businesses.
- Bookkeeping payroll and even Crunch Mortgages, mortgage broking for Small Business owners.
Given we’ve been in the market since 2009, we have realised the importance of covering all the bases, including building our own powerful software. The Crunch Free launch, our free accounting software, enabled us to really spread our wings and show HUGE scalability to bring on 10,000’s of new members and easily upgrade.
