At first, I thought this is just another accounting app. But then I read in your Investor Deck: “For example our pay yourself function for Ltd companies, uniquely allows the user to see exactly how much they can pay in the most tax efficient way possible, using dividends if there is profit. It even produces a dividend certificate.”
That’s very needed. I have been thinking about such feature in accounting software for quite some time. Are there any other examples of such unique features that Crunch offers?

Unlike our competitors, our software provides our clients with the ability to file their confirmation statements (formerly called annual returns) directly with Companies House. It’s a super slick process which takes seconds to complete.
We also provide our clients with a direct link through to our Product team, which creates a dialogue and ensures we are delivering the features we know will deliver value, and ultimately help the business to grow.
Other examples of unique features within our software are:
- Year end accounts filing with Companies House
- CT600 auto generation and filing with HMRC
- Pay Yourself dashboards, including payroll run filing with HMRC
- Dividend functionality, as you mentioned.
- Easily upgrade or downgrade, including a dormancy service so Crunch is always there to support our clients
We’re also really excited about the Self Assessment auto generate and filing functionality we’ve built in the software. This allows us to offer our Self Assessment feature as a standalone product, supporting individuals, sole traders and limited companies. The efficiency savings from this product has allowed us to completely simplify our pricing structure, allowing us to be extremely competitive within the market.
