Smart fields in invoice descrition

I have a number of invoices which I would like to set-up a reoccuring invoice but have it so that it will update the description line with the previous month and the year.

eg:

Description:
1 x Monthly IT Services (April 2021)

The ‘smart’ field I would like to have updated would be the month and year.

Is this possible so that I can use the reoccuring invoice feature?
