Sam Does anyone know if you can expense a self assessment payment (as a limited company) and if so what would you put it under.
TomFromCrunch Hi Sam, You can expense the cost of getting someone to prepare a Self Assessment for you. The tax itself should be paid personally. It’s important to be aware that these costs would be classed as a taxable “Benefit in Kind” and would need to be declared on a Form P11D. We have a Help Centre article about this that might be handy: https://help.crunch.co.uk/s/article/self-assessment-fee-expense-type2 Hope this helps!
