Add new expenses button

Hi,
I can’t toggle to Classic View under the Expenses section, which means (in Modern view) I have to find the red plus sign in order to add a new expense. I can’t find this red plus button anywhere - it’s not where the help section says it should be, at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Please help 🙂
