Reconilication

Hi all,

I recently joined Crunch Freemium and connected with Tide. I am trying to reconcile transactions but every single one does not have a preferred match or anything similar - even big name brands such as Starbucks.

I have around 65 transactions to do and it really seems inefficient to manually enter in suppliers, etc.

Have I done something wrong?

Hi, Your suppliers will need to be entered, but to save time, you can use generic headings such as ‘Food & Drink’ or ‘travel’ and then add all the relevant expenses under these. You do not need to add every place that you purchase something from. If you haven’t added your expenses etc, you can use bank reconciliation to create these or add entries to match them. I’ve used Open Banking to add in my expenses - but at present 0 matches. I’d seen the videos showing specific brand etc. just want to be clear on what the offering is

By the looks of things, your statements are there but your Crunch entries still need adding. You can use the ‘New Payment’ button to quickly create entries through the bank rec screen, or you can go to the expenses tab and use the plus button to set up a new expense.
