Is this a legitimate request?

A client of mine is based in Asia. They hired a new developer to work with me on the project and they just got a bill for £38000 from a uk recruitment agency we worked with.

There business bank don’t support gbp payments. I am paid in USD which I am fine with. However the recruitment agency does not want any other currency

They asked if I could pay the agency with my business bank and they will pay me first so I wont be out of pocket .

I am sure they will pay me as we been working together for years. I just wonder if this is not breaking any laws or it’s not recommended .

So what the plan is I invoice them £38k in usd. They pay me. Then I pay the agency
