problems importing bank statements.

Anyone have problems with this, when I click import statement, I get an error message stating statement entries have erros and won`t be imported. TIA

Hi there,

If you’re having problems importing your statement it’s likely that the .csv file needs a little formatting.

Here are a few things to check:

You have columns for: Date, Description, Money in/out and balance
If you have separate money in and out columns, leave the cell next in the opposite column blank. Don’t put a 0
Your money in/out column must be formatted as numbers, not currency
Make sure you have at least an opening balance (Crunch can calculate the rest from that)
Date formatted as DD/MM/YYYY
