I think i have an idea on this answer, but regarding Ebay & Etsy initial listing fees only, should i create simple Ebay & Etsy expense accounts, add these as expense / cost of sale? - i think i have a method for sales themselves with final fees taken off, as this will very mirror the method used when receiving Paypal business payments and seperating out the cost of the fee.

That’s correct. If you incur a cost for listing on sites such as Ebay or Etsy, this will be recorded as an expense.

You can add Ebay/Etsy as a supplier and use the expense type ‘Cost of Sale’.
