Lacking some basic features

I’ve just started to use Crunch Free. I like the interface, simple and intuitive. It looks much easier than Xero or Quickbooks, but it is lacking some basic features, like how do I create an invoice that is dated yesterday, not today? How can I void an invoice if it is cancelled or refunded? And is there any way to integrate it with Monzo account?
The main reason I want to try Crunch is to prepare for the upcoming MTD, and I want to know its capability of self assessment, but it is £200 upfront and I cannot see if it can file all the different items in HMRC like property income, capital gain, dividend, interest. This is actually more expensive than Xero and Quickbooks, which makes me hesitate whether I would use it. Thanks!

I’m glad you’re enjoying Crunch Free so far.

When creating a new invoice, the date will default to “when issued”; however, you can change this by clicking in the box to open the calendar and selecting the date you’d like.
If you need to void an invoice, please switch to ‘Classic’ view using the toggle at the top of your screen. You can then select Options > Raise credit note. We have a guide on how to credit note an invoice here.
Open Banking is available with Monzo. To set this up, please follow our guide, “Setting up Open Banking in Crunch Free”.

Our Self Assessment service allows you to submit all the details that need to be reported on your personal tax return via a simple questionnaire. Our accountants use this to prepare your calculations and share them with you for review and discuss any questions before it’s filed.
