Child Benefit Conundrum

Hi there. After having been freelance for a while, I started a full-time role last year, which has taken my wages over the threshold for claiming Child benefit.
I only realised this after it was in the news due to the recent budget. I wondered if I now need to get in touch with HMRC and pay back the payments I’ve received since I took the new job?
